Happy New Year to all our new and returning students! Everyone here at the MSc Social Justice is looking forward to working with you this year.
Induction week for new students kicks off on 11th January. Your induction will be in two parts: the programme team will run the first half of your induction on Moodle. This part of your induction will introduce you to the programme, teaching and learning on your courses and will involve activities that will help you get to know your fellow students. I’ll update this post later in the week with a link to our programme-level induction. Here’s the link to your programme-level induction. Please note that I’ll be running a welcome session on Monday 11th January at 19.00GMT. This session will be recorded and available for streaming for those who can’t make it. Note, you won’t be able to access this link until you’re enrolled and registered on the programme.
The second half of your induction is run by the Institute for Academic Development (IAD). IAD will run a series of online workshops from mid to late January introducing you to the digital medium, being an online student, the university library and study skills. Please note that you *must* register in advance for these events. Follow this link for further details. I’d like to highlight a few sessions that might be helpful to you (note all times are GMT):
