Your assessment beckons. As you know, the individual part of your assessment asks you to write a policy briefing for a popular audience. I know that many of you have policy analysis/advocacy experience so this might be a familiar exercise for you. However, I wanted to share with you a few examples of good briefings that are engaging, informative and critical.
Here is an excellent briefing on the Prevent Duty by the further and higher education union in Britain, University and College Union.
This is an excellent briefing on gender budgeting and feminist policy change done by my amazing colleague Angela O’Hagan who’s at Glasgow Caledonian University.
Finally, this is a very good briefing on economic inequality across the globe by Oxfam.
