It’s almost the end of the semester–how time flies. I’m looking forward to working with you on Policy Analysis for Social Justice!
I’m delighted to announce that Wanda has joined Sam as your class rep–this is great news. I know that they recently held a meeting with some of you about how things are going on the programme and I know that they’ve opened a new space for those of you who couldn’t make the meeting to share your views. Please do let them know how you’re getting on as Wanda, Sam and I will be meeting to discuss your experiences before the end of the semester. As always, if you have questions, please feel free to contact me directly!
I hope you’re enjoying CASJ. Can you believe it’s already week 6? You’re almost finished with the semester–wow!
As I haven’t heard any suggestions otherwise, it looks like Sam will be your class rep. If someone else wants to join Sam in this role, great–most cohorts have 1-2 reps anyway. So, if someone else is interested, please talk among yourselves and let me know the outcome.
Sam, can you please organise a meeting with your cohort? If you want a private space on Moodle, please let Duncan and me know. Otherwise, I’ll leave it up to you to organise things on your end. After you’ve had your meeting, we’ll convene an SSLC before the winter break in December.
If you have any questions at all, please get in touch!
Here’s your friendly reminder that you guys need to elect a class rep. I note the earlier discussion that Sam had put her name forward and that Ruth and Nicole supported this. Please let me know your final decision and let Duncan know so he can create a private space for you guys to chat.
Once your rep has been decided, we’ll organise a Staff Student Liaison Committee (SSLC) meeting to discuss any issues you might be experiencing on the programme. Here’s the guidance from EUSA on class reps.
Do get in touch here or via email if you have further questions or comments.
